How to Prepare for Dumpster Delivery
Confirm placement, keep access clear and agree on the loading and pickup plan before your dumpster arrives.
A little preparation makes a dumpster delivery easier to coordinate. Before your preferred date, discuss the address, placement and debris with EK. A quote request does not reserve a delivery time; wait for confirmation.
Confirm the project address and placement
Give EK the full delivery address, not just the town. Describe where you would like the container placed and ask whether that location works for the truck. Mention gates, narrow driveways, overhead obstacles, slopes or anything that might affect access. EK can review the actual situation rather than relying on a generic clearance figure.
Clear the access route
Move vehicles and loose items from the route and placement area before the confirmed delivery. Make sure the person coordinating the work knows where the container should go. If access changes or the site is not ready, contact EK before the truck arrives.
Check property and public-space requirements
Do not assume street placement is automatically permitted. If the planned spot is on a public road, shared property or an area controlled by someone else, check the applicable requirements with the relevant property manager or authority. This guide does not establish local permit rules.
Agree on what will be loaded
Explain the material in your quote request. Ask EK about restrictions, especially for hazardous materials, electronics, appliances and unusually heavy debris. Keep anything uncertain out until EK confirms how it should be handled. The right disposal plan depends on the actual material.
Review the rental terms
Check the agreed size, delivery adjustment, rental duration, included weight and any additional fees. The online estimator shows reference line items, while the confirmed quote and rental agreement establish your actual terms. Contact EK if your planned duration changes.
Keep pickup access clear
Plan for the truck to reach the container again. Avoid placing vehicles or materials in front of it. Tell EK when you are ready for pickup and discuss changes before the rental runs longer than agreed.
